Stamped Concrete
Looking for a patio, walkway, or driveway that looks like stone without the stone price tag? We’ve got you. At Dural Concrete, we design and pour stamped concrete that stands up to Pueblo’s sun, wind, and freeze–thaw swings—then seal it so it stays sharp for years. Our in-house crew does everything: prep, forms, rebar, pour, stamp, cure, and seal. No hand-offs, no guesswork—just clean lines and a smooth schedule.
Why Pueblo homeowners & builders choose Dural Concrete
Built for Southern Colorado weather
Hot summers, cold snaps, and low precipitation call for the right mix, joints, and sealer plan. We spec patterns and products for Pueblo’s temperature range so your slab lasts.
OSHA-trained, fully insured
From tight side yards to busy commercial sites, our crew works safely and respectfully—so you can relax on pour day.
One team, start to finish
We control the timeline: excavation, base, forms, reinforcement, stamping, cleanup, and sealing. That keeps your project on budget and on schedule.
Straightforward pricing
After a quick site visit, you’ll get a clear, written quote. No hidden fees. Ever.
Our stamped concrete process
1) On-site consult & quote
We measure, check soils and drainage, talk patterns/colors, review access, and give you a firm, written quote.
2) Design & scheduling
We finalize layout, joint plan, and borders; we’ll coordinate with your HOA if needed.
3) Permits & approvals
Working in the right-of-way (sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches) requires a City of Pueblo concrete permit—we’ll pull it and coordinate inspections. Building/inspection coordination runs through the Pueblo Regional Building Department.
4) Site prep
Excavation, compacted base, forms, and reinforcement (rebar or welded wire) sized to loads and soil.
5) Placement & stamping
We place the mix, apply the color system, stamp your selected pattern, and tool joints for movement and drainage.
6) Cure & seal
Proper curing protects strength. Then we seal with a Pueblo-appropriate product (gloss or matte). Traction additive available for winter safety.
7) Clean-up & walkthrough
We leave the site tidy, review care tips, and set expectations for resealing.
Pricing guide & quick estimator
Typical ranges
Most stamped patios fall within a predictable per-square-foot range. Driveways and complex borders, steps, or heavy base work can adjust pricing.
What affects price
Pattern complexity, multi-color schemes, site access/haul-off, base depth, steps, borders, saw-cuts, and sealer type.
Fast estimate
Text a few photos and rough dimensions for a same-day ballpark; we’ll confirm on site before we pour.
Permits, codes & local considerations
City of Pueblo concrete permit (ROW)
Any concrete in the right-of-way—sidewalks, curbs, driveway approaches—requires a permit and inspection.
Pueblo Regional Building Department (PRBD)
We coordinate building permits/inspections and provide contacts as needed.
Pueblo West & County access rules
Residential driveways have minimum thickness standards and cure/strength timelines before opening to traffic. We build to spec and supply any required test results.
Stormwater & site disturbance
Larger projects may trigger erosion controls or stormwater submittals. We follow city/county guidance and keep sediment out of drains.
Climate & timing
Pueblo’s big temperature swings mean we schedule pours, curing, and sealing around weather windows—and choose sealers built for freeze–thaw.
Care & maintenance (Southern Colorado)
Reseal cadence
Plan to reseal every 2–3 years; high-sun or high-traffic areas may need it sooner. Sealing protects color and blocks moisture during freeze–thaw.
Winter tips
Skip deicing salts—especially the first winter. Use sand for grip. Avoid metal shovels and harsh chemicals.
Routine cleaning
Broom and rinse regularly. Spot-clean oil or leaf tannins promptly. Call us for deep clean and re-seal packages.
Eco & safety options
Low-VOC sealers
Water-based products available; we’ll match sheen and slip resistance to your space.
Mix enhancements
When appropriate, we can discuss supplementary cementitious materials and reinforcement options that boost performance and reduce footprint.
Clean sites
We protect landscaping, control wash-out, and keep work areas tidy.
